Sammanfattning
This report treats the implementation of some mathematically defined Chaotic Systems with analog electronic circuits and also how to present the resulting signals to the eye. They often reside in three- or four-dimensional state space but oscilloscope screens and paper are typical two-dimensional media y x . The era of big, expensive Analog Computers is over and today digital computers rule everywhere by means of their ever increasing computational power. However, a big class of systems described by Ordinary Differential Equations is easily simulated with analog circuitry that work in continuous time. Simple circuits with operational amplifiers will be used to simulate chaotic attractors. Classic systems defined by Lorenz, Rössler and Chua have been built and a methodology for translating mathematical models into circuits is described. A novel way of doing coordinate rotations with simple analog components is presented.
