Sammanfattning
With the release of the standardized specification for Bluetooth low energy (BLE) mesh structure there will be new innovative ways of connecting ”things” to the Internet of Things cloud. Up until now, a typical structure when using Bluetooth enabled devices is that one or more sensor devices connect to a master device. This master acts as a gateway to the cloud, being the only device connected to the cloud. <p> The idea is to evaluate interoperability issues for the new Bluetooth mesh standard that will be released 2017, this using pre-access specification available at Sigma Connectivity. With this we mean to explore what issues might arise with the new standard as different devices that uses different SDK and/or SoC tries to communicate with each other using the new standard.
