Sammanfattning
Telavox is a company that develops a communication platform for companies. this platform provides for example smart and easy telephony, call centre, and chat. Today, Telavox does not have any authentication to confirm that the caller is the person that he or she claims to be. This is something that is highly coveted. One way to authenticate a person is by using BankID. BankID is a two factored authentication application that is heavily used by the Swedish population when logging in to different services, for example to your bank account. What this master thesis is going to cover is to see how BankID can be used during a phone call and when it's used, how it affects the safety of Telavox's product. This document will include research on different models on how this can be implemented. There do exist services that can authenticate users using BankID during phone calls but they are completely separate and therefore not integrated into the phone call flow. Each model will be compared to each other. This master thesis will cover all the models' pros and cons, an implementation of a prototype of one of the models and more in-depth analysis of that model.
