Networked Systems Lab
The Networked Systems Lab is part of the Secure and Networked Systems Division at the Dept. of Electrical and Information Technology, Lund University. The current research is focused on networked applications that are controlled over the clouds. Current applications are, for example, Industry 4.0 and self-driving cooperative vehicles. The research is aimed at 5G/6G infrastructures where edge computing and network compute fabrics are key components.
Our vision is to make a difference in both academia and industry. Therefore, we perform applied research with a strong theoretical foundation. Further, we have a long tradition of collaborating with industry, and we want to work with real world challenges and solutions, and we have the whole chain of theoretical analysis, simulations, and testbeds. We have close collaborations with the Dept. of Automatic Control and Ericsson AB.
