Ulrike Richter received her Diplomingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Hanover, Hanover, Germany in 2005. In the same year, she joined the signal processing group at the Department of Electrical and Information Technology as a PhD student, and received her PhD degree in 2010. Her research focused on
biomedical signal processing, especially the field of atrial
fibrillation, aiming a better understanding of the development and
organization of atrial fibrillation by processing intracardiac as well as ECG signals. Since 2011, Ulrike Richter is pursuing postdoctoral studies in biomedical signal processing at the Neuronano Research Center at Lunds University.
