Abstract
At the device communication research organization within Ericsson in Lund we develop new concepts and solutions based on 5G and its evolutions towards 6G. We are initiating a proof-of-concept lab for wireless communication based on software defined radio units and its application software to evaluate and test new technologies such as sensing using communication signals or energy efficient device to device communication. The software defined radio units are programmed and controlled via software development toolkits such as Vivado, Vitis, PYNQ, GNU Radio, etc. which provides signal processing blocks to implement software based radio functions.
