AntennEMB 2012 Best Paper Award
Iman Vakili received the AntennEMB 2012 Best Paper Award for the paper "Forward scattering experiments on periodic metamaterials in a parallel plate waveguide" by Iman Vakili, Mats Gustafsson, and Daniel Sjöberg at the Swedish Radio and Microwave Days, AntennEMB Symposium, Stockholm, 7-8 March, Sweden 2012.

SEMCAD X Student Research Award 2011
The paper ‘In-Mouth Antenna for Tongue Controlled Wireless Devices: Characteristics and Link-Loss’ by Rohit Chandra and Anders J Johansson have won 3rd price for the SEMCAD X Student Research Award 2011, organised by Schmid & Partner Engineering AB (SPEAG)

SEMCAD X Student Research Award 2010
Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) has awarded 2nd place to the paper titled, ‘’Influence on the Ear-to-Ear Link Loss from Heterogeneous Head Phantom Variations’’ by Rohit Chandra and Anders J Johansson for the SEMCAD X Student Research Award 2010.
The paper has been published in the Proceeding of the 5th European Conference on Antennas and Propagation, 2011 (EuCAP 2011).

URSI Young Scientist Best Paper Award
Dr. Alireza Kazemzadeh received 2nd prize in the Young Scientist Best Paper Award at the URSI Electromagnetic Theory Symposium in Berlin, August 16-19, 2010. The title of his paper is "Thin wideband absorber with optimal thickness"

SA Schelkunoff Prize Paper Award
Mats Gustafsson, Christian Sohl and Gerhard Kristensson, received the 2010 SA Schelkunoff Prize Paper Award of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society for their paper entitled "Illustrations of New physical bounds on linearly polarized antennas" which was published in IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, vol. 57, no. 5, pp. 1319-1327, In May 2009.
