Meddelanden
It is not be possible to do the DEMO we discussed last exercise class on Friday (the 21th), since some of our PhD students are currently using it for measurements. Sadly, this event is canceled.
Regarding the last exercise session: definition of capacity region is not only the boundaries we discussed last exercise but also all its inner points (i.e., all rate pairs that can be decoded error-free). However, nothing changes in its computation based what we did last exercise (i.e., if you calculate the boundaries you also know the interior by default). Moreover, the concept of capacity region exists for both Multiple acess and Broadcast channels (but in this course we only address the first case).

Solutions for receiver capacity (lecture on Tuesday 4/10)
Channel matrix: H =[1 2;2 1] (matlab notation)
Es=2. No=1
Capacity (assuming ML) = log2(20) = 4.32 (bits/channel use)
Capacity with matched filter = 2log2(46/21) = 2.26
Capacity with ZF = 2log2(14/5) = 2.97
Capacity with MMSE = 2log2(70/21) = 3.47 derivation
