Regarding textbook versions
The course textbook is "Digital Signal Processing - Principles, Algorithms and Applications, 4th edition" by Proakis and Manolakis.
As some of you may have noticed however, two versions of the book exist: A US version and an international version. The text seems to be more or less identical between the two versions, but some of the problems have been removed in the international version. The problem set for the course (see table below) applies to the US version of the book (which was used previously), but most of you probably have the international version.
The simplest solution to this is to use the swedish translation of the problems (see also link above). In that case the problem numbers in the table apply directly and the solution manual (in the same pdf file) also applies directly. The additional problems ("E X.Y") are also to be found there.
If you want to read the problems in your international version of the book book (in english), you can do so by using the translation table (see below) that applies to most of the problems. Some of the problems are not available in the international version. In these cases, the swedish translation must be used.
