Meeting Sign-up
You can now sign up for group meetings. There are eight time slots, four on Tuesdays and four on Wednesdays, between 10:00 and 12:00. Use those time slots primarily; if you absolutely cannot attend any of those slots, send an e-mail to Mikael Swartling to arrange for an alternate time.
To sign up for a group meeting, ONE and only one group member (choose a "group leader" if you like) signs up on behalf of the entire group for a time slot. The remaining group members do not sign up.
Keep in mind that group discussions are mandatory each week. To begin with, time slots for the first two weeks are available. If necessary, the time slots may change for the remaining weeks.
The location has not been decided yet. Check this message page for information before the gorup meetings.

There will be no more mandatory meetings due to the report deadline on Wednesday 5:th March and the presentations of Friday 7:th March. I will be avaibabe on Tuesday 4:th March from 10:00 to 12:00 in E:4115 for any last minute questions and problems.
Report and Presentation
The report shall be submitted by Wednesday 5:th of March. Submit your report to Mikael Swartling, preferably in PDF-format. The report does not have to be final by Wednesday, a mostly final draft is enough. Some final touches, after for example some comments and feedback has been given, can be made later.
The presentations will be on Friday 7:th of March, between 13:00 and 15:00 15:00-17:00 in E:2311 where each group will have a small presentation of around 10 minutes. Your projects will also be set up and demonstrated live for about 5 mintes.
Keep in mind that the demonstrations will not be performed in the labs so you may not have access to the development environment during the demonstration. The DSP is supposed to run stand-alone, so get familiar with the flash loader provided on this course page and the instructions for how to flash-program the DSP (see notes for lecture 4). Once you have your final program ready for deminstration, flash-program it and it will run without the IDE after power-cycling the DSP.
Some project may be dependent on the IDE for result feedback, and a computer with the environment will be available if that is needed. Stand-alone execution is not strictly necessary, but preferred.
Observe!
Presentations will be held at E:2311. Observe the time change! Unfortunately, the presentations had to be moved ahead on short notice to a later time, to 15:00. If this causes problems for you, please inform Mikael Swartling.
Don't forget to bring your tool box from the lab to the presentation so you can set up your project for demonstration.
Computer and projector will be available for your presentation, just bring your slides on a USB-stick. You are of course free to use your own computer if you want to. A white board is available as well.
