Gemma Vall-llosera new VINNMER Fellow
VINNOVA has announced that Dr. Gemma Vall-llosera is one of the fifteen new VINNMER Fellows. Read VINNOVAs press release here.
Gemma is a member of the Broadband Communications group at the department. Gemma is the group's second VINNMER Fellow.
GigaHertz Symposium 2010
The symposium will be held in Lund, March 9-10, at Palaestra. Several researchers at EIT are in the organizing committee, and Prof. Henrik Sjöland is the general chairman.
3 Doctoral student positions in 60 GHz wireless systems
with last day for applying: 2009-10-15.
The SSF center for high speed wireless communication at the department of Electrical and Information Technology, Lund University, recently got extra funding for an exciting project about 60 GHz wireless technologies. The aim is to realize a short range gigabit wireless link and we will now open three PhD student positions in the following areas:
1) Channel measurements, modeling and system design for 60 GHz wireless systems,
2) antenna design, analysis and hardware integration and for 60 GHz impulse radio technology and,
3) smart antenna systems based on 60 GHz CMOS technologies.
