Digital Project EDI021

During spring 2010 we
enrolled in the course Digital Projects (EDI 021), where we had to build a
prototype based some logic's or a micro processor. The prototype have to be
built from your own idea and design. We choose to build a robot that can
maneuver in its environment without hitting any obstacles in its way. To do
this we used two distance sensors to detect objects, that had do be
integrated with a micro processor. We used the ATmega 16 micro controller for
processor, because of the developing environment that the institution
provided with the processor. During the project we encountered with several
major problems, but we solved most of them. This course is a very good course
for anyone who would like some more hands on experiences during their studies.
The project do take time, and it is frustrating, but all so fun. In the end
we had really good time working on the project and we learned a lot. |
