Project(s)
We are now in the week before the exams and therefore there should be no more help sessions. However, I know some of you might benefict from some extra help.
Thus, I will show up in the lab tomorrow (Monday) for 1 hour (15-16). Make sure you have your questions ready. The same thing holds for Friday (the 21th).

If you can't access to the Matlab Signal Processing toolbox, one option to construct a lowpass filter (to be used in Task 3) follows. You can try These 8-th order lowpass Butterworth filter coeficients (generated using the butter() function in Matlab) with normalized cut-off frequency Wn=0.05.
After loading these coefficients in Matlab, you can filter a signal as
FilteredSignal = filter(B,A,SignalToFilter);

Based on the poll results, the official timeslots for the help sessions are on Mondays and Fridays from 15.15 to 17.00. Click here to get a document with the room number for each session.
Important 1: There are 2 help sessions that are not shown in the document above. These will happen on Friday the 9th of September, and on Friday the 16th of September. Both of them are from 15.15-17.00 and in the room E:4123.
Important 2: The first help session will thus be Friday 9th of September, where I will give a short overview of the project.

As Fredrik mentioned in the lecture, here is a Doodle poll for possible time slots for the 2 weekly help sessions: http://doodle.com/poll/nat9abrwez2sn26y
Please tick every time slot that you can attend (not only the 2 slots that fits you better). I will choose the 2 slots that most people can attend provided that everyone can attend to at least 1 help session. I will let you know the answer by Friday night, and also what are the lab. rooms.
Note that the doodle timeslot are only addressing the week starting from 19th to 23th of September, but these time slots are valid starting from that week and onwards (for the whole HT1 study period).
Comments: It is not mandatory to attend to any help session. I will give a short overview of the project in the first one.
