Mojtaba Mahdavi, Doktorand
Mojtaba Mahdavi received his M.Sc. degree (Ranking First) in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, he was with Advanced Integrated Circuit Design Laboratory (AICD Lab) at Sharif University of Technology. He designed and presented several workshops on "Digital System Design using Xilinx Tools/FPGAs". Also, he worked as "Digital Designer" and "Consultant" in the industry for 4 years, mainly in the field of digital circuit design (ASIC/FPGA) and wireless communication systems.
Mojtaba is currently a Ph.D. student in the Digital ASIC group at the department of Electrical and Information Technology (EIT) at Lund University, Sweden. From Sept. 2020 to Jan. 2021, he joined Microelectronic Systems Design Research Group at Technical University of Kaiserslautern (TUK), Germany, as a visiting scholar. His research focus is on hardware-efficient implementation of massive MIMO detection and channel coding schemes for the next generation of wireless communication systems.
Mojtaba is a reviewer of several international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-I (TCAS-I), IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems-II (TCAS-II), IEEE Transactions on VLSI Systems (TVLSI), IET Communications Journal, IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), IEEE International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), and IEEE European Solid-State Circuits Conference (ESSCIRC).
