To be able to find a suitable PA, different PA’s specifications will be written by my partner. According to these results a specific DPD algorithm will be written for each PA. The DPD algorithm written by Ericsson is a general algorithm, however to increase the efficiency the DPD algorithm should be written specifically for each PA. Also an envelope tracking should be added to DPD algorithm. There will be two different setups to test each design. One will be pure simulation and the other one will be using the DPD algorithm and an EDA board with receive and transmit capability. The pure simulation will be used to test the abilities of the DPD algorithm and the other setup will be used to test this algorithm on a real circuit. These simulations will be held simultaneously to be able to understand the effect of the real transmit environment on the PA design. Both these simulations, improving each DPD algorithm for each PA and making the envelope tracking is the researchers responsibility.
