Reexamination in January plus optional assignment to raise to 5
As promised there will be a reexam period in January where you have the chance to raise your marks. The exam period will stretch from Jan 11 to Jan 22 so you have one week after the exam period if it is tight to do several exams concurrently. This year, since it has been more difficult for all of us, you do not have to redo all quizzes. You can select what quizzes you want to attempt in moodle. NOTE, you have to go into moodle and in the reexam section select "Reexam Module Selection" and there select which quizzes you will attempt. If you do not, your quiz will NOT be marked.
If and only if you have gotten a 4 in the quizzes you can opt in to attempt to raise your mark to a 5 through an extra assignment. If you want to do this, you have to email me January 8 the latest because this needs planning.
For Study period 2
Just a little reminder that there is extra material on the moodle site. This is supplementing the text book.
Solutions to tutorial 2 and 3 are now linked. Haorui got a request to put the solutions up beforehand for the last tutorial so it is there. Just remember to try to solve the questions yourself first and then compare with the given solution.
Note! Signing up for the SDN project lab is done on the ETSF10 website!!!!
An old exam has been added as example questions under the exam tab.
Example solutions to tutorial 1 are available under the tutorial/exercises tab
The time tabling for LP2 was just finished!!!!!!!
You can now go into timeedit and see the schedule for LP2.
Note that Patrick Jones from ICANN will give a guest lecture in December. Look at the lecture schedule on the left side.
For Study period 1
Haorui will have consultation times in her office Fridays 13-15 this study period. She will not be able to continue running up to the lab every day. She is also available via email.
I will be online on zoom to answer questions October 7 and 21 from 10-12. The zoom link is the same used for the lectures. Of course I encourage you to send me emails with questions at any time.
The deadline for the first project is Friday October 16.
The dates for the first exam for ETSF05 will be during the exam week October 25-30
Since the tutorials will be online, there is no need to split the class in two and the tutorial sessions will be on he Thursdays this study period, not the Wednesdays. Zoom link will be posted soon.
As I mentioned in the first lecture, the PPP lab has been removed this year due to COVID-19. However, the lab is in the time tabling for the course on timeedit (October 13 & 15). Just be aware that it will not take place.
I have sent out an email with instructions for the first lecture to all that are registered in Ladok. If you have not received this, you need to check that you have been regisered and email me to send you the information.
Registration is done by students, I am not involved in this process.
