Synopsis

The goal of this project was to create an entirely analog guitar pedal in order to allow a guitarist the ability to create different sounds with his or her instrument. This was accomplished by running the input signal through a limiter circuit which gives the user two different options regarding types of clipping (hard and soft). This signal was passed through filters and a frequency divider. This allowed for the bass notes on the guitar to have an octave down effect. The limited signal and octave-down signal were summed together to create the output signal.
