Project Tuff Tuff – Remotely controlled trains

The goal of this project was to control model-trains by sending signals in the rails. This means establishing communication over a very noisy environment. Between the two rails there lies 12 volts constantly. The receiver on the train is connected between the rails and the engine, this makes it possible for the receiver to steer the train. Three main tasks should be implemented by the receiver:

The transmitter that is connected to the rails should be able to send control signals to the train by pressing buttons.
