Secure and Networked Systems

The secure and networked systems division at EIT research system architecture, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and security aspects of computer systems and communication.

In the security area, the work is focused on the design and analysis of encryption primitives with a particular focus on post-quantum primitives, including security evaluations, attack methods, and both software and hardware performance of ciphers.

The security research also encompasses the design of trusted computing systems, denial of service detection and prevention, and key management in distributed and cellular systems.

In the networking area, the research focuses on different aspects of network performance, especially wireless network access. The group works on developing and analyzing network architectures that support different application scenarios ranging from traditional WLAN access to IoT systems and vehicular networks.

In the AI domain, we conduct research on networked intelligent systems and machine learning with systems perspective across several domains, including automation.
