Mentor Graphics - Tessent

Here are some tools from Mentor Graphics for Digital IC test insertion and test pattern generation.

Tessent 2022

This is now the latest version available on our systems.

>Run the following command to define the environment

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/tess2022/setup

Or in the lab room use the command 'inittde tess22'.

If this does not work try '. inittde tess22' instead.

The manuals can be studied by typing 'tessent -manual'. This will use the web browser, which
should already be started, to display the info.

Tessent 2020

This is now the most modern version available.

The environment is defined by the command

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/tess2020/setup

In the lab room use the command 'inittde tess20' instead.

The manuals can be studied by typing 'tessent -manual'. This will use the web browser, which
should already be started, to display the info.

This is now the newest working version. As usual the environment i initialized by the command

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/tess2018/setup

In the lab room use the command 'inittde tess' instead.

This newest version is now available. As usual the environment i initialized by the command

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/tess2016/setup

Some manuals can be read by 'tessent -manual'.
