This Synopsys Application Specific Instruction-set Processor is now available.

Version 2023.12

Now, this latest version has been installed. To define the environment, use
this command

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/synopsys/asip2023/setup

and start the tool by typing "chessde"

Version 2022.06

As of Jun 10, 2022 this version is now installed on the standard system.

Use this command to initialize the environment

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/synopsys/asip2022/setup

The tool can the be started by typing "chessde"


For the newer version (2022.12) use ..synopsys/asip22.12/setup instead.

Version 2021.03 and 2021.12

This latest version can now be used on the standard and gfcad systems.

To set up the environment do

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/synopsys/asip2021/setup

or use the latest

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/synopsys/asip2021.12/setup

and start the program with "chessde"

This new version is now available on the standard and "gfcad" systems.

Use this command to define the necessary environment

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/synopsys/asip2020/setup

Something can be started by the command "chessde"

Use this command to define the necessary environment

Something can be started by the command "chessde"


Now also available on the secret gfcad* cluster.

Setup

From the department domain the environment is initialized by the command

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/synopsys/asip1809/setup


When this is done the tool may then be started with the command
