The first command sets up the search path and defines necessary environment
variables.
This has to be done in every window from which you are going to run
any Cadence tool.
The 'ams_cds' command builds several starup files the
| csx : ams 0.35u CMOS
first time it is run. These files will be located both in your
| cux : ams 0.6u CMOS
current directory and in your home directory. The para-
| byx : ams 0.8u BiCMOS
meter to the 'tech' option initializes the directory to the
| byr : ams 0.8u SiGe BiCMOS
selected process.
The selections will be stored in the setup files and in the future only
'-mode fb' is required
as argument. This also means that the directory is locked to the selected
process and an-
other catalog has to be chosen for work with a different technology.
