2011-11-15 Online quiz info: There is a small test quiz (also time limited but several attempts allowed) available that I strongly ask you to try out in
order to familiarize yourself with the workings of Moodle quizzes.
The test quiz is available from Nov 20 until Dec 13.
Questions will be similar to Review Questions in Forouzan (on the book homepage
you can find answers to some of the questions) or Instuderingsfrågor for Kihl/Andersson.
2011-11-15 Examination page updated with information on how grading is done:
"Grading is done by weighting results of quiz (20 %) and take-home exam (70 %) and correction (10 %)
(plus approved optional lab assignments for grades 4 and 5)
"
2011-11-12 from Cookies: "The name "cookie"
derives from UNIX objects called magic cookies. These are tokens that are
attached to a user or program and change depending on the areas entered by the
user or program. A Magic Cookie, in UNIX terms, is a way of exchanging small
tokens of information to help two programs (usually on separate computers)
interact. The modern Browser cookie is a direct descendant of the UNIX Magic
Cookie - and on Macs, the cookies are still called Magic Cookies !!"
