Biography

Ove Edfors was born in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden in 1966. He received the M.Sc. degree in computer science and electrical engineering in 1990 and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing in 1996, both from Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. In the spring of 1997 he worked as a researcher at the Division of Signal Processing at the same university and in July 1997 he joined the staff at the Department of Electrical and Information Technology, Lund University, Sweden, where he is a professor of Radio Systems.

His research interests include radio systems, statistical signal processing and low-complexity algorithms with applications in telecommunication.
