Chenxin Zhang was born in 1982, in Beijing, China. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering at Engineering College of Copenhagen in Denmark in 2007. Besides the Bachelor study, he worked as a part time system engineer at a Danish company, Circle Consult ApS, where he was mainly responsible for consulting projects from different customers, including electronic circuit designs, PCB layouts and systematic designs in HDL.
He received his M.Sc in System-on-Chip from Lund University in Sweden in February 2009. Since then, he worked as a project assistant in the department of electrical and information technology, LTH, Lund University. Currently, he is working towards his PhD degree in the same department, where his research mainly focuses on system development of the coarse-grained reconfigurable architecture intended for high computing performance and run-time flexible application mappings.
