Sammanfattning

The performance of fourth generation wireless communication system will strongly depend on scheduling and interference management techniques. A prominent candidate for such a technique is interference alignment. By appropriate linear precoding at the base station interference to other users can be reduced. Crucial for such an algorithm is the availability of channel state information at both, the transmitter and the receiver side. In frequency division duplex (FDD) systems quantized channel state information can be fed back to the base station. LTE-A defines dedicated mechanisms for this already. In time-division duplex (TDD) channel reciprocity can be exploited to obtain channel state information at the transmitter side. In this master thesis a link level simulation building on LTE-A parameters shall be implemented where the basic properties of channel state information transfer for interference management in slowly time-variant channel can be analyzed. A basic OFDM Matlab simulation environment is available that need to be extended and adapted to the needs of this thesis.
