SyllabusOFDM is an important modulation technique used or envisioned in numerous communication systems (WLAN, WIFI, WiMAX, xDSL, DVB, DAB, DRM, UWB WPAN, beyond-3G mobile communication (LTE, UMB, etc.)). EIT140 covers the basics of multicarrier communications. Along the way, important principles applied in basic and advanced communications systems are introduced (correlation, LS, MMSE, precoding, greedy algorithm, applied convex optimization for signal enhancement and resource management). Participants will consolidate most of the material via implementations and demonstrations using MATLAB. Topics covered by lectures and rough schedule: -
