We use the book 'Antennas For All Applications' by John D. Kraus and Ronald J. Marhefka

or as an alernative

the book 'Electromagnetic Waves and Antennas' by Sophocles J. Orfanidis (you can download it at http://www.ece.rutgers.edu/~orfanidi/ewa/). We use parts of Ch 14-22 and some of the matlab scripts.
