Mentor Graphics - Catapult

Catapult is a tool for high level synthesis in c/c++ and System C.
It is now a part of the Mentor Graphics portfolio.

Catapult v2022.2

Here is the most modern version available. As usual the environment is defined
by a setup script

source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/cat2022/setup

The program is then started by the command catapult.

When on the laboratory machines use 'inittde cat2022' instead.

If this doesn't work try '. inittde cat2022'.

QuestaSim is included in the setup.

Catapult v10.5.c

This is the latest version of the tool. Initialize the environment by running this command when on the standard or gfcad system.

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/cat105c/setup

The script setup21 will use a more updated version of QuestaSim.

When on the laboratory machines use 'inittde cat105'

Start by giving the command catapult.

Catapult v10.4.b

This is now the newest working version. As usual the environment i initialized by the command

> source /usr/local-eit/cad2/mentor/cat104b/setup

In the lab room use the command 'inittde catapult' instead.

The program can then be started by the command catapult.

There are a lot of manuals which can be accessed from within the tool or by directing
your web browser to the file $CAT_DIR/Mgc_home/shared/pdfdocs/index.html

Also available on the gfcad system.
