AMS (Austria Mikro Systeme International AG) - C35
This is an update of the old 0.35 u process,
CSI. Many geometrical rules are improved
and an extra metal layer has been added.
Currently installed are
c35b4 0.35u 4M/2P
Rule Sheet
The AMS documents
contain a more extensive set of rules and process parameters. They
are not accessible from outside the department since they are confidential.
The current version of the design kit is v3.70 and it can be used
with Cadence IC 5.1.41 or
Synopsys 2006.04 for synthesis.

A slightly older version is v3.60. It
has been set up for use with Cadence v5.0.33.
For
synthesis, Synopsys
v2004.06, is recommended.

Here are instructions for the older version (3.51) Cadence v5 .
An even older version yet which should not be used is Cadence dfII.
The standard cell libraries has also been compiled for synthesis with
Synopsys v2003.06.
It is still possible to fabricate in the older process (CSI) but the
designs can not be mixed
on the same wafer.
